The Film Agency for Wales is the sole Agency for film in Wales, with a remit to ensure that the economic, cultural and educational aspects of film are effectively represented in Wales, the UK and the world.
Established in July 2006 as a strategic agency, the Film Agency aims to facilitate the emergence of a viable and sustainable Welsh film industry and to promote a vibrant and dynamic film culture.
Spend the weekend with top filmmakers at Hay-on-Wye
The world famous Hay Festival of literature and the arts kicks off on the last day of May, but just before Hay-on-Wye launches into festival fever, from May 25th, for three days, Oscar winners and nominees will be amongst the many film-makers descending on Hay-on-Wye for a weekend of master-classes, screenings and Q&A sessions at ‘Hay on Film’, the inaugural event of the Hay Film School.
