Two film newcomers have each won cash prizes of £2,500 after winning the Film Agency for Wales' Pitch to Win! open session. Aled Roberts from Llanelli and Anthony James from Cardiff succeeded in winning the audience and judges' vote after pitching the best ideas at the session, which was designed as a platform for potential emerging film talent in Wales. The recently created Film Agency for Wales, responsible for ensuring a dynamic and sustainable film industry in the Principality, has appointed a talented line-up of key personnel. The agency is led by Chief Executive Pauline Burt, with Britt Harrison joining as Head of Talent. Four walls for Film Agency

The recently established Film Agency for Wales has announced its headquarters will be based in Cardiff Bay. The Agency, which is the sole agency for film in Wales, has moved into 33-35 West Bute Street alongside a string of other resident organisations similarly working within the creative industry sector in Wales, such as the Assembly's Creative Business Wales, Skillset, Cyfle, the Welsh Music Foundation, NESTA and Griff Films.
