The Film Agency for Wales is keen to find and support both new and established talent within the Welsh film-making industry.

We offer development finance, advice and information. Our finance focuses on feature films, including feature-documentaries that have theatrical release aspirations, in addition to feature-length made for television films, but we are always interested to hear what else you are working on. We are here to help, whether you just want to talk to someone about your story, or need a fresh pair of eyes on a script, if you'd like to explore ideas for potential financiers, or just ask basic questions about how the industry works.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call, or simply post us a copy of your script and we will be in touch in a few weeks. We would advise you not to send treatments or outlines where you already have a script, as we prefer to gain insight to your screenwriting skills, rather than the polished nature of your prose. If you are a producer, feel free to add any information you may think is relevant in a covering note.

Our Development Strategy should provide valuable insight into what we do and don't do and how we work. We are more than happy to discuss projects and/or potential applications informally, either face to face or over the 'phone.

All projects are treated in the strictest confidence and all enquiries will be treated respectfully. No non-Film Agency personnel are used as part of the reading or consideration process.
