Content acquires The Machine and announces cast
Content Film has acquired the world rights to The Machine. Caity Lotz and Toby Stephens will star.
Developed with the Film Agency for Wales, this sci-fi romantic thriller will be directed by Caradog James (Little White Lies). The film, which is set in the near future and sees the Ministry of Defence developing a robotic soldier, is produced by John Giwa-Amu from Red and Black Films. Content’s Jamie Carmichael is Executive Producer.
Shooting is due to begin on July 23 in Cardiff, UK.
The film has received backing from The Film Agency for Wales, Ruby Moon Ltd, Graham Associates, The Ideas Factory and the Welsh Assembly Government.
Content is selling the film worldwide.
